St. Paul Women of the ELCA meet every month for fellowship and
transacting business. Their two big money raisers are the lutefisk
supper and the fall bazaar. 750 over-stuffed diners will attest to the
fact that our fish and lefse are beyond compare. Proceeds from these
activities are used to help out the church home, and help support
numerous Lutherans and benevolent organizations as part of our mission
field.
Sewing Day is held the fourth Wednesday of every month except
December.
Many quilts are made for overseas, locals in need, and some are also
put up for sale.
The Altar Guild takes care of communion, candles, linens, and all of
the banners. Many other committees offer chances to use various skills
and preferences.
The women's group is the driving force of the church, and working with
the council and pastor much is accomplished; all to the honor and
glory
of God.
Anyone interested in more information may contact Sandy Altfillisch at
the church office at 532-3784, or any of the officers.
