Lakeside Park - West Side Field
Two convenient parks within the city limits of Lake Benton are available free of charge. Lakeside Park is located at the intersection of highways #75 and #14 on the west shore of Lake Benton lake. The park area has a shelter house with electricity, outdoor grills, restrooms, a boat ramp, fishing pier, and handicap accessible dock. West Side Field offers a shelter, grills and water, ball diamonds, playground equipment, and restrooms.

Hole in the Mountain park
Hole in the Mountain park is located within the western city limits of Lake Benton just off Highway #14. The park has 17 campsites with electricity and water and 12 electrical sites located in a separate area which is reserved for those campers who bring their horses.

The park is approximately 800 acres of woodland and prairie land and throughout the park you will find historical sites along several miles of hiking and horse trails. Two picnic areas are included in the park along with a Chalet which includes shower facilities.

Snowmobilers and cross country skiers may utilize trails located throughout the park. There is no charge for use of the trails and the park does not rent of this equipment.

Norwegian Creek park
Norwegian Creek park is located one mile north and one mile east of the city of Lake Benton. The park consumes 128 acres and is located on the western shores of Lake Benton lake. There are 30 campsites with electricity and water and the facilities include two picnic shelters, a bathhouse with showers, a fish-cleaning shed, and an RV dump station. Norwegian Creek offers a hiking trail, a swimming beach (no lifeguards), and two boat launches.
