Below is a map of Lake Poinsett. Several meetings were held before the final decision was made on boundary location. It was decided that the original boundary of the "Lake Poinsett Sanitary District" would be the logical boundary, since this has already been mapped and advantages to its residents could be more readily addressed.
- Wayne Haug, PE & LS, of Haug Engineering & Surveying of Brookings is the surveyor who has been retained to do the surveying and mapping of the proposed boundary of the "City". He will design the map and secure the affidavit for the legal description map and will survey the territory designated as the boundary. Wayne is also a professor in the Engineering College at SDSU
