OPPORTUNITIES
1.  Recreation
With visionary planning and development, the municipality would surely attract additional recreational opportunities, making businesses now in existence grow, and attracting new recreational type commercial enterprises.  Better lake quality as a result of a satisfactory sewage system and erosion control will make recreation one of the most important economic advantages in the municipality.  Cooperation with GFP to stock game fish, and helping them improve the lake to reduce trash fish to make habitat for pan fish more allowable, will certainly create a positive environment for business growth and attract more tourists and other users of lake facilities.
       
Development of recreational activities will be limited only by the vision and creativity of those businesses on the lake who depend on recreation and tourism for their livelihood.  It is in the area of recreation, tourism, development of environmentally safe commercial entities, new employment opportunities that existing and future businesses should recognize as a value in a municipality.  Cooperation between the business community and the muncipal management is imperative for success of the all.

2.  Tourism
Lake visitation will increase and increased revenue to the city and the businesses will follow.  Tourists are attracted to model recreational facilities.  The State Park, the development of city parks, the increase of recreational programs year-round will make the city a YEAR-ROUND attraction for everyone who cares to visit here.  The more we make available for them in a healthy surrounding, the more liklihood of a thriving community.

3.  Employment
As the city grows and more economic development opportunities avail themselves, the more employment can take place.  With more employment, more homes can be built, more full time residents will become a reality and the more likely a year-round community will be realized.  The municipality structure is the most feasible way this could come to pass.
