According to the Clark Centennial History:Bradley was
named after Mr.E.R. Bradley who was a civil engineer for the Milwaukee
railroad. he was very well thought of and had a dynamic personality,
When he saved the life of the superintendentof the construction
line, as a mark of respect the town was named in his honor in
l887
