Clark's Main Street as it looked in the very early
1900s.
This photo is looking south, from the very northern
end of the "business district." The building on the
far right, (closest to you) was a boarding house. I believe it
caught fire and was eventually demolished. The Court House now
stands in that spot.

Here is a photo of Martin & Eliza Almira (Ferris)
Harris Family. Martin and his wife Eliza are seated to the left.
Martin moved his family to Clark Co., South Dakota between 1871
and 1888 from Geauga Co., Ohio. Three of his children married
and raised families in Clark Co. The children of Martin and Eliza
as I know are: Louisa Harris, Henry Harris, Ida Harris, Emma E.
Harris (m: Albert Lyman Bull), Grant Harris (m: Jennie Clinnard),
and Frank M. Harris (m: Sadie E. Keeling). Also I am going to
assume that several of the girls belong to Albert and Emma (Harris)
Bull as I know that had at least three.
Can anyone help me put names to these faces ? ? ? Any help appreciated.
