Dakota Stoneware is produced by hand on a potters wheel. Dave Huebner has been turning ware & creating in clay since 1966. Each piece is a one of a kind. Dave works with designes that reflect the rich traditions of the South Dakota Prairie. Dave collects historic pottery & produces traditional functional ware, and a few whimsical creations. Dakota Stoneware also creates historic reproductions for Museums & historic re-enactors. Some of the ware features tribal designs & animal depictions. Dave is not native American, but uses a similar stylized animal renderings.
